The Layout:
This literary magazine contains Poems, Fiction and other works followed by a reading listed composed by the contributing authors. The magazine is organized in no particular order except that multiple pieces by one author are placed after each other.
Writing ranges from traditional fiction, prose, prose poem, free verse, to experimental subjects such as kinetics, world leaders and forms such as grammar, tense, and style.
From what I can tell the cover art is usual submitted by artists or found by contributors
Aside from the writing the magazine itself is bland the cover is followed by some illustrations and advertisement. Everything else is written in the same font and size with exception of the title.
The piece that I found most interesting as well as the most FENCE-like was listed under the Other category: Telepathy, Poetry, Pedagogy: Transcripts and analysis from a Psychic Experiment in Progress.
My favorite piece was a short story written by Alexander Kluge called the Cosmos as Cinema (15handouts)
